Why We’re Streamlining Our Deodorant Range, A Message from Earth Conscious

Earth Conscious has always been a small, family-run business. Today, it’s myself and my daughter at the helm, supported by a few wonderful freelancers. Over the years, my husband and son have also played their part — it has truly been a family effort.

It’s been more than 11 years since the idea first began, and in that time we’ve learned just how much work goes into running a business like this. Many times, people have approached us wanting to buy Earth Conscious and scale it up — but that’s never been our goal. Not every independent brand wants to be swallowed up by a big corporation. I don’t.

I’m intentionally keeping the Earth Conscious brand small, so that it can be managed sustainably — not just in terms of the planet, but also in terms of people. As my children have grown into adults and I’ve grown older, I’ve realised that caring for my own wellbeing has to be part of what “sustainability” means, too.

Scaling back allows us to focus on what really matters: making sure your favourite deodorants are always available, produced with integrity, and shipped directly from us to you, with the same care and attention that’s been there since the very beginning.

We’ve been listening closely to you, our wonderful customers, and watching carefully which scents and applications you love most. To make your shopping simpler, keep your favourites in stock more reliably, and support our sustainability goals, we’re streamlining our deodorant range.
